J.A.E Wellness is excited to introduce our new program initiative that will primarily focus on justice involved fathers who will benefit from workshops that will provide parenting skills, resources and a community of support on challenges a father encounters while involved in the Criminal Justice System.

Mission
Breaking the cycle of generational incarceration by restoring families.

Goal
Provide support with education and community resources for men with children who have been impacted by incarceration by expanding services within the adult detention and correctional facilities and community to improve outcomes for parents to reunite with their children and decrease recidivism.

Project Description 
6 Week Program that offers various topics on parenting, community resources in mental health, employment, etc. We’re rolling out a 6 week parenting curriculum specifically for justice involved fathers, emphasizing crucial parenting skills and support. This program will support activities that foster positive family engagement between justice involved parents and their children within the adult detention and correctional facilities and the community to reduce the likelihood of antisocial behaviors and future involvement in the criminal justice system.
